I always have "2 sets of ears" for this passionate and spiritual music - it's more than rock n roll. Love songs with a twist, for me. This which I listen for is near obvious on Heart is Weak. It's a love song, almost a stalker song; but the other point of view, or other ears, I hear God singing! Imagine being stalked by God; for some that's no surprise - you can twist and turn, but can't get loose - no matter what. It amazing, I hear this same kind of idea in other songs - with a slight twist - to get to the same place. Thought you were on my side. Promise you made. Oh, yes, Coward's Courage - that nothing can stop! whew! Spiritual Power!

It is this amazing energy that I have always heard and that I listen for. These songs to me, are like Prayers.
Surprise you; I don't do church; I walk my own path; and Cock Robin has helped me on my Way - it's very personal.

I too was quite thrilled recently to find the Utube videos, and the albums that have been released that I never knew existed - is this a best kept secret?
Time to rerelease and world tour. Such a mystery.
I am a guitar player; and I have been learning to play Promise You Made on acoustic, solo, that's a lot of work. Also looking at Coward's Courage, and Thought You Were On My Side.
This stuff just so easily fits the MysTiK theme for me; it's not about Power; it's about Communion; just walking down the street and In Touch with the Big Guy. This is just reality for me; it's nothing about socalled religion. For me it's about Being, and Being Real - I suppose I'm just a little crazy - o well. I am not alone. Neither are you; but you can do your own thing. Or say it your way; it's no different.
Worlds Apart - I can sleep anywhere; here's your home. don't worry about me.
Yes, amazing music; and I want more of it. I am sick of trash artists; there are many good artists with serious talent. Kingsbery and Anna are a whole other thing. Forget about getting old; throw off the old ways and be young as you are.

Thanks for this shot at a long distance appeal - this is almost a prayer also. Everything's a Prayer.

Anyway, more, encore, mowahhh. Where can I get some of these newer albums?

And come to tour Canada - I know you will; or where can I come and see you? I probably sound like some flipped out groupie. Or worse. It's hard to sound intelligent when your just brilliant - it's not about thinking anyway; that's all too slow.

Very eloquent and moving testament to the power of Peter's music...I was also a teenager when they first cam out and fell in love with Cock Robin's sound on their debut CD. I was into my 20s by the time "A Different Man" came out and the songs resonated with me as I grew up and tried to find out who I was going to become in life. I bet there are others like me and the creator of this website. It was a thrill to discover Peter's Only the Very Best on youtube this evening. Perhaps the best I've ever heard him sound. Thanks for creating this homage to Peter and his music. May more discover him in the days to come.

Je suis définitivement amoureuse de la voix de Peter, à défaut de comprendre toutes les paroles. C'est comme une vague qui monte et qui emporte tout quand je l'écoute.

Et dire qu'il vit en France, mais où ?

Heartfelt words for a great group and a great voice. Picking up Peter's solo work has not always been easy, but I always got there in the end. Have you heard his extraordinary version of 'Only the Very Best'? It's spine tingling.

All the best, John
